So last week I had a pretty significant gain, added to two other weeks of small gains. I was a little surprised at the big gain last week, but didn't let it get me down. Instead, I tried to change things around a bit. I had a tough time getting activity points in this week. I think I only got to the gym once, tried to skate one night but due to the foot issue and trying to find a skate that will work for me, that didn't work out so well. I was a bit down on Wednesday about that, but picked myself up, dusted myself off and "kept on".
Well, yesterday morning I headed to the scale and my meeting ( a great leader and a wonderful group of people) and, surprise, I LOST 3 POUNDS THIS WEEK! That's a good start to getting things back on track, and a great big loss for me. I don't usually lose more than two on a good week.
Now, again, this week, I'm going to have a little difficulty getting the activity points in. Lots of hours of work to do and a little mid-week getaway to celebrate our 20-years of marriage (anniversary was last month). But I'll do what I can and just watch what I eat, and hoping for another victory next week. I have three weeks to meet a particular goal I had set, and don't know if it's reachable, but I'm sure going to try.
Right now, I've got a wonderful little pizza baking in the oven for my lunch with fresh tomatoes, a little red onion, and fresh basil from the garden. Had an eggbeaters omelet this morning with fat-free feta and roasted veggies. Tonight I'm planning on making some stuffed peppers using ground turkey, and a great big salad!
So who wants to join me in having a great week, no matter what? Just keep doing it, day by day, hour by hour, or minute by minute if that's what it takes. Don't let things get in the way and derail us, and if they do, get over it, get back on track immediately and the move on!
