Beautiful Sunny Day = Dreams of Fresh Produce

Seriously, when we finally get a beautiful sunny day, my thoughts start drifting off to fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, fresh herbs, the produce market, and of watching my own vegetable garden grow.   Healthy, healthy, healthy, healthy.

A day's harvest from a few years ago....

Today is such a day.  Finally, an 80 degree day!  My plan is to work for a little while longer (just until the soup stock is done in the pressure cooker) and then venture outside for the afternoon, maybe go to the park for a walk, and start planning the vegetable garden.  I'm tempted to go to produce market (craving oranges and swiss chard), but I may hold off since I have quite a bit of beggies already in the fridge and don't want to waste anything.

For dinner, we're going to fire up the coals, grill some burgers (low-fat, of course) and grilled veggies.  Will be a perfect chance to roast some of those extra peppers I've got too.

No running today.  Not that I don't want to, because a day like this would be PERFECT, but I got an
8-mile run in yesterday, so today is an off day for me.
