Official Vacation Results - A Flop

Hi.  I hope you're all having a nice weekend. It's very, very cold here, 25 degrees right now.  We got a little snow yesterday, just a couple of inches.  Makes me want to cuddle up with the newspaper and just hang out today and not get anything done, but I've got A LIST, and must be finished by 4:30 gametime.  Go Eagles!

Sorry.  Got a little distracted for a second.

Anyway, on to my topic.  Went to my meeting and weigh-in yesterday, with not such good results, but I expected it.  I gained almost 4 pounds.  There.  I admitted.  Now that that's out of the way, I have to say although I'm frustrated now at what I did not accomplish over my vacation, I'm confident in what I can accomplish now, which is it to get back to where I want to be.

That starts with one big thing.  Even though it's Sunday, my intention is to get a workout in.  Even though my whole body is aching right now, my intention is to get a workout in.  Even though I have a lot of cleaning, putting away Christmas, cooking, that kind of stuff to do, my intention is to get a workout in.  Even though I have some work that I should do for my job, my intention is to get a workout in.

What will that be?  Well, I have options!  Don't we all?  We all have options as far as activity goes every single day.  Yeah, it's cold, but if I dress warm, I could go for a walk.  I could throw my gym clothes together and even though it's not a normal thing for me to do on a Sunday, I could go to the gym and run on the treadmill.  I could just head down into the dark and dreary basement and get on that beautiful elliptical that hardly ever gets used.  I could put the Christmas tree away so I have more room and work with my hoops

The question really is when do I want to get my workout in and which one will I pick.  Hmmm, think I better get some breakfast and finish my coffee.

What's your favorite go-to workout when you really need to push yourself back into activity?
