Working on Normal

Just haven't felt up to it lately.  It's been a difficult week.  Been out of sorts.  Struggling just to feel normal, but it's coming.  I can feel it.

Kept very, very busy over the weekend.  Saturday morning, we ran a local 5K, and had a great time and a good pace at under 10:00 minute mile.  In fact, the first mile, we were under 9:00 minute mile.   Aimee, my running partner, got first place in her age group.  We're running a turkey trot together on Thanksgiving Day, and I know of at least one, maybe two 5K's I want to do in December.

After the 5K, spent the afternoon with family celebrating a birthday party, and then Saturday night was the Township bonfire.  Sunday morning, up and out early, for another run.  We ran just over 6 miles.  It was another beautiful fall morning.  By Sunday the time I headed to my sister's for football and dinner, it all hit me.  I was exhausted.  Had a hard time keeping my eyes open.

I wanted to get out for a run today, but just couldn't pull myself together enough.  Took the dog to the park and called it a day.  So hope to get out on Thursday for a decent run.

In the meantime, I'm counting points, eating healthy, working on stitching projects, and reading posts while I ponder what's next on the agenda for me.
