A Good Day!

A busy day, but still, a good day.  I have 4 points left (well, maybe less, since I made homemade buttercream icing and, of course, I had to taste it!

Got up early, and made myself an omelet with one egg, one egg white, half ounce of cabot cheese, turkey sausage, and a little leftover from dinner last night.  Great start to the day.

Got my work finished and then got ready for my long run.  A single serving bag of almonds to give me a little fuel to run on and I was out the door.  Same route as last week. 7.19 miles.  It was a good run today, felt good, and I beat last week's time by 8 minutes!

After cleaning up, it was time to get start with my usual Friday errands, but not until after we got some lunch.  I've been craving roast turkey on rye bread, so that's exactly what I ordered, with a side of stewed tomatoes instead of the fries, a pickle, and a cup of soup.  Great lunch, very filling.

From there, it was off to get the rest of the things on the list done.  Got home around 5:00, unloaded the groceries put everything away, a batch of chocolate cupcakes in the oven for a family party tomorrow, and then decided to make a pita pizza for dinner, with salsa, mozzarella, half a piece of sausage, spinach and some fresh basil.   Just enough.

So it's been a busy day.  Yawn, so tired.

Meeting and weigh-in tomorrow and a family get together.  Should be another good day.  Sunday will be busy with work.

What are you doing this weekend?
