Have I mentioned that lately, I love blogging? Well, if not, let me tell you, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE BLOGGING! What do I love about it the most? I love the links from blog to blog, finding new and interesting people to follow, to hear what they have to say about dealing with the same issues I deal with on a daily basis. I love reading about the food that people eat, sharing recipes. I love how open the blog world can be and how willing you all are to share your experiences and help out when one of us needs help with a particular situation or problem or just to give us encouragement. SO LOVE YOU, BLOG WORLD!
So today is day two of my week to get it moving. My goal this week was to get my work done AND get to the gym four times this week, plus skating Wednesday night. Yesterday I made it to the gym and had a Great workout.
This morning, my plan was to get up at 6:00, get showered and dressed, and be at the computer working for a few hours before heading to the doctor with hubby for another test. Didn't work out that way. Oh, the alarm went off at 6:00 but I was barely able to turn the alarm off. This new medication the doctor has me on really puts me in a zombie state. I just laid there for almost an hour before I was able to actually get out of bed. I wake up in the morning and can't even figure out what day it is for a while or what I'm supposed to be doing that morning. I'm going to hang in there for a while though. I've only been taking the medication since Thursday. Has anybody else had this experience with medication?
So last night's dinner was wonderful, grilled chicken thighs, roasted vegetables with whole wheat pasta and a big salad. And yes, I finally have a foodie picture to post...but it was really blurry, so again, no pics. Sorry!
I don't know what we'll do for dinner tonight. The refrigerator is pretty packed with fresh veggies and leftovers from last night. So maybe that's the answer, leftovers. I don't usually eat pasta two days in a row though. Hmmm.
Well, off to get dressed in workout clothes and get ready for the morning!
