Long Pause...

So meeting and weigh-in in today. Think I've had a good week. After meeting, I'm going to rush home and then we're taking a day trip with a friend and "gettin' out of town". :) Yeah! Really looking forward to a day away.

Wow, it's been a crazy busy week.  I have NOT had a chance to catch up on my blog reading.  Hopefully, will do some of that tomorrow.  I miss reading about what you're all up to!
I've been busy working and making $$$, which is welcome since work had been slow for the last month or so.  The job I'm working on is supposed to go for the next month so hopefully, I'll be catching up on a lot and "getting my house in order".

Meantime, I'm still managing to get to the Y.  I'm a little (okay, a little more than a little) frustrated at what I can and can't do there.  I WANT TO RUN!  I WANT TO GET ON THE ELIPTICAL!  I want, I want, I want.  I get a great workout doing laps in the pool, but I don't want to do that every day.  I want to switch it up.  So yesterday, I went into the gym, worked on the cardio bike and then went to the weight circuit room (guess that's what they call it).  Hubby went with me and helped me with the settings on all the machines and wrote it all down so that I can do it by myself and he can just go to the pool while I'm doing that.  I also tried the rowing machine.  Though it would be a good idea until I got on it and realized that it caused a movement in my foot/lower leg that would not be a good idea right now.

One more week left of the "rest it for a month" phase and then I don't know what's going to happen.  Still sore, but not nearly as sore.  Still getting these horrible charlie horse cramps though, especially up the front of the bad foot/leg.  Going to make an appointment this week to have some bloodwork done and see if my potassium/electrolytes or whatever they call it is off.

Tomorrow I'll be working again AND doing some garden work in the morning before it gets too hot.  Tomatoes are starting to ripen, cucumbers are coming in pretty good now, green beans need picking.  Zucchini have slowed down, but I think that will pick up again.  Also, looks like our nectarines (2nd year) are fattening up now and should be ready soon!

So hope everyone is having a great weekend.  Gets lots of activity and remember to get in lots of fresh fruit and fresh veggies!
