First of all, I want to wish each and every one of my blogging buddies a Very Happy and Healthy Holiday. May you all enjoy the time with your family and friends and have a relaxing day.
In honor of the occasion, I finally got around to doing my tie-died Easter eggs last night. Results...
A lot of red in there, huh? I'm going to try to collect some silk ties this year that have a little green in them or a little more blue. For some reason, I was drawn to the pinks and reds this year.
So I went to my meeting and weigh-in this morning, and happy to announce that the number finally went down. I lost 2.5 pounds this week. It was a good week, a busy week, which probably actually helped. I followed the same program I did the week before, except for one change. I decided to count the points for my smoothies that the WW recipe builder was calculating for me. I don't know if that made the difference, but I'll take it!
Don't know if I'll get as much activity in this week though. Had planned on running today, then the forecast didn't look great at all. So I decided to stay home and work and run tomorrow morning instead. So Mother Nature decided to play a little "switcharoonie" and it has not rained since late this morning, dry most of the day, which would have been perfect for my long run, and now they're calling for rain all day tomorrow. Go figure.
Well, I'll take it as an opportunity to rest my sore foot a little. If I get the opportunity to run tomorrow, then I'll run. If not, I'll do it another day.
So now it's time to go finish up one last little "Easter project"... pizzelles. Then it's off to the recliner to relax for the evening.
Hope you're all enjoying your day!

Ive never dyed eggs!
I am looking for smoothie recipes, what is your favorite? Thank you
ReplyDeleteKelly, honestly, I love smoothies and throw fresh fruit in baggies in the freezer every week just for them. Banana and strawberries are always great but if I have cantelope, mango, even papaya, although that takes some getting used to. Oh, and pineapple. Just use a combo, some fat free Greek yogurt and a splash of milk or squeeze the juice from an orange, all in the blender of course
ReplyDeleteCarla, the eggs are so much fun. Each one is like unwrapping a little gift. Do it to celebrate Spring! Fun!
