Went out for pizza for lunch, then to the local fishing tournament, home to work in the garden...not, too hot so I decided to work on some more hoops and finally took some pictures.

I made one more since taking these pictures, pink and black stripes, a larger one, and it's weighted, and a little heavier than my other weighted ones.I'm really having fun making these and they're great to pick up and use while I'm watching tv, cooking on the grill, or just hanging out in the yard. Hey, every bit of activity helps and why not have fun doing it, right?
So then after making a few hoops, I decided it was time to focus on dinner. I make two HUGE pans of grilled veggies, marinated chicken breasts, salad and some sweet potato fries.
Cleaned up the kitchen, took care of a couple plants, then out for a walk with the dog. Finally, dragged/drug the hose over to the school to water the new veggie garden the kids put in. I couldn't stand the thought of all their little plants shriveling up from the heat.
So now it's 9:00 p.m. Wow, what a full day! Tomorrow I haven't decided on yet. Either I'll stay home, maybe do a little work typing...maybe not, hang out in the garden, or skate. Friends are bugging me to skate since it's the last Sunday session until the fall. We'll see. Honestly, I'm not sure. Maybe I'll see what the weather has in store for me.
It's supposed to cool down here this week. Hope so. I want to get out and run. I've been thinking more and more about the next race I want to enter, and I've kind of made up my mind on something, but have to get back to the doctor and talk to him about the foot before I make it final. Ready for this? Yep, it's a half marathon. Never thought I would EVER even think of doing a half, but I don't know, I'm just starting to feel like I can. It's in October in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the boardwalk. Feel like it was meant to be, because it's exactly one year from the day I ran my first 5K last year.
But it all depends on what's going on with the foot and what the doctor says. If he says training for a half marathon is overdoing it, then I may have to put it off for now and just do some 5K's and 10K's. So we'll see what happens.
